Things to do with kids in Indian Trail

Indian Trail has a big, well-equipped park at its center and a few smaller ones worth knowing. Here is where we would start with kids, with the official links so you can check details before you go.

Parks and playgrounds

Crooked Creek Park

5900 Oakwood Lane

The big one. An ADA-accessible playground, a splash pad, a walking track and trails, a disc golf course, a mountain bike trail, outdoor fitness equipment, picnic shelters, restrooms, ball fields, and a dog park. Open dawn to dusk.

The town notes the splash pad is closed Tuesdays for maintenance. Check the town page for the current splash pad schedule.

Chestnut Square Park

An artificial turf multi-use field, volleyball courts, and tennis courts, with benches and charcoal grills. A good one for a ball game or a picnic.
